Romero experienced defeat in both of Spurs’ meetings with Arsenal last season, and he will undoubtedly want to finally taste victory over Mikel Arteta’s team. Romero responded, “Belgrano is the team that gave me everything and yes, in that fixture emotions can get a little frayed,” when asked if the North London Derby is similar to the derby between Belgrano and Talleres in his homeland of Cordoba, central Argentina.

However, this is a top-tier derby versus the second-best team in the Premier League, behind Manchester City. The encounter on Sunday at Emirates Stadium should be exciting to watch, and Romero will be hoping his team can pick up three points against their rivals to keep their league winning streak intact.
