There are no real bad moons rising in John Fogerty’s world anymore.

The onetime leader and primary songwriter of Creedence Clearwater Revival went through decades of well-chronicled issues, on a variety of fronts, with his former record company and his bandmates.

There was a time, even, when he would not play CCR songs.

And at the group’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction in 1993 Fogerty could not bring himself to even play with the band on stage, instead performing with the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Robbie Robertson and others.
