Christian Stephen Yelich is an American professional baseball player in Major League Baseball. He currently plays the position of left fielder for the Milwaukee Brewers.

He was born on December 5, 1991, in Thousand Oaks, California, U.S. and attended Westlake High School. Christian played for the Miami Hurricanes baseball team at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. He was selected in the 2010 MLB draft by the Miami Marlins. He debuted his MLB career with the team in 2013 and was a consistent player until 2017.

Christian has gathered much acclaim in his MLB career so far. He is a two-time All-Star and was the NL MVP in 2018. He made it to the All-MLB First Team in 2019 and won the Gold Glove Award in 2014.
