‘Cannot hide’ – Striker linked with Tottenham hints at Premier League ambition

Serhou Guirassy, a striker for Stuttgart who has been linked to Tottenham, has acknowledged his admiration for the Premier League.

With 14 goals in his first eight Bundesliga games this season, Guirassy has emerged as one of Europe’s most prolific strikers (Transfermarkt).

Despite playing two fewer games than the England captain, the 27-year-old is only one goal behind Harry Kane (Eurosport), which is why the striker is drawing attention in the Premier League.

The Guinea international is being watched by a number of English clubs, including Spurs, according to TEAMtalk last month. The outlet also mentioned that West Ham, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, and Fulham are interested in the player.

Later, Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg disclosed that the center-forward’s contract included a €20 million (£17.4 million) release clause.

Two weeks ago, Football Insider speculated that Fulham and Spurs are the teams currently leading the chase for Guirassy.
