Bukayo Saka posts a two-word message on Instagram and Tottenham fans will love it
James Maddison and Bukayo Saka will be on opposite sides of the opposing teams when Arsenal and Tottenham square off in the north London derby later this month.
Both Arsenal and Tottenham are unbeaten in the Premier League as of right now, and there is a good chance that will be the case when they face off on September 24.
James Maddison presents Bukayo Saka with award
Bukayo Saka turned 22 on Tuesday, and James Maddison gave him a gift in the form of the England men’s Player of the Year title.
Saka showed respect for Maddison by posting a statement on his Instagram story, something Tottenham supporters will appreciate.
Saka added the phrase “top guy” with raised hands and a heart emoji to a photo of the two players hugging after receiving the honor.
The atmosphere is currently pleasant as England gears up for a Euro 2024 qualifier against Ukraine before a ferocious match against Scotland, but that will change in a few weeks.
Arsenal v Tottenham and Saka v Maddison
Last year, Mikel Arteta’s team defeated their fierce rivals twice, including at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where Martin Odegaard scored an incredible goal.
However, Spurs supporters will claim that under their new manager Ange Postecoglou, things are much different since they are playing aggressively and they have fired their clumsy goalie, Hugo Lloris.
Given how both sides are currently performing, you shouldn’t expect anything less from a North London derby given how fun and goal-filled they typically are.

Dier, whose current contract expires at the end of the current season, appears to want to know if a new one will be on the table.
We would have to assume that there won’t be given Spurs’ apparent change of course based on the first few weeks of the season.
As their deadline approaches today, Saudi Arabian clubs are intrigued, but a late trade for Dier looks improbable.
Eric Dier may yet be needed at Tottenham
We can only assume that Postecoglou intended to flog Dier and bring in someone better suited to his style of play in an ideal world.
Both Tosin Adarabioyo and Lloyd Kelly were top targets for Spurs during the summer transfer window, but they were unable to be acquired.
In spite of this, Tottenham decided to transfer Davinson Sanchez to Galatasaray in an unexpected move.
The Colombian’s contract was set to expire in 2024, but Spurs took the money before he was free to leave for nothing.
However, because Dier might be required in an emergency, Tottenham is left without backup for Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven as a result of the transaction.
The Spurs hierarchy may even place Dier beneath Ashley Phillips, a young player, but there may still be a path for Dier to play for the first team.
Where could Dier end up?
In 2024, Dier will undoubtedly leave Tottenham, likely calling an end to his ten years with the team.
Marco Silva, the manager of Fulham, showed interest over the summer, so there does seem to be interest from other parties.
Due to the likelihood that Adarabioyo will leave Sporting in Portugal in 2024, a reunion between Silva and Dier there may still be a possibility.
According to 90Min, Sporting are eager to have Dier return to the team, but Benfica, Sporting’s rivals in Lisbon, are also considering a potentially contentious transfer given Dier’s past with the club.
According to that source, Celtic are interested in Dier, and the Bhoys may be ready to pounce as long as Postecoglou, their previous manager, doesn’t seem to be persuaded.
They may keep an eye on Dier for a potential permanent move in 2024 even if Nat Phillips has since moved from Liverpool to Celtic on loan.
