While the teams are already preparing what promises to be a very intense 2024 season in Formula 1, there are teams that are already starting to move their pieces, and one of them would be Red Bull, which would already have in its sights the possible successor of Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez.

This change would take place for the 2025 season, where in the top category several movements have already begun to take shape, highlighting Lewis Hamilton, who will leave the ranks of Mercedes to join Ferrari.

Australian journalist Peter Windsor, who is a Formula 1 analyst, has claimed that Red Bull has chosen Thai driver Alexander Albon to be Max Verstappen‘s teammate from 2025.

Albon already knows what it is like to work with the Austrian team, but in 2021 the Thai driver left the team with the arrival of Sergio Perez from Force India.

Red Bull has so far not revealed its plans for 2025, as it looks to repeat in 2024 as the top team in the Formula 1 World Championship, with Verstappen defending his title and the team looking to repeat as constructors’ World Championship champions.
