In the midst of all of the UFL re-signings, we’ve seen another athlete make their way to the NFL. San Antonio Brahmas DT Jalen Dalton has signed with the Dallas Cowboys practice squad, making his way back to the big leagues after a strong UFL campaign.

Jalen Dalton was an offseason addition for the Brahmas. He immediately fit into first year DC Will Reed’s defense, starting in four of seven games played this year. Jalen was a rotational piece the first three weeks, but quickly earned a starting role, and didn’t look back.

Unfortunately, Jalen suffered a season ending injury in week seven, against Houston. He was placed on injured reserve, missing the rest of the year. Dalton finished the season with 12 tackles and two sacks, alongside a solid 70.1 Defensive Grade via PFF.

Now, Dalton will have the chance to return to the NFL, with the Dallas Cowboys. He has a few years of NFL experience already, with the Saints, Bears, and Falcons. Jalen has 13 tackles to his name with the Falcons during the 2022 season.
