Bid accepted: Leeds told £20m phenomenal striker bid will be accepted
But Swansea, despite being braced for offers in the final month of the window, are in no rush to sell Piroe.
The Dutchman has less than 12 months remaining on his Swans contract.
He enjoyed another campaign last term, notching 20 goals and two assists in 45 games across all competitions.
In the previous 2021-22 campaign, the Dutchman managed 22 strikes and six assists.
That form has caught the eye of Leeds, Leicester and Southampton as all three sides target an immediate return to the Premier League.
Piroe joined Swansea from PSV Eindhoven in 2021 and has gone on to establish himself as a proven force in the Championship.
The 23-year-old predominantly leads the line but can also feature as a second striker – and did so under now-Southampton boss Russell Martin for the Swans.
Leeds are on the hunt for a new striker having lost last season’s top scorer Rodrigo Moreno to Al-Rayyan.
Meanwhile, Southampton are on the hunt for attacking reinforcements amid interest in several of their stars – including Nathan Tella, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Che Adams.
Leicester are braced for offers for striker duo Kelechi Iheanacho and Patson Daka.
The Championship season gets underway next week (4 August) when Southampton face Sheffield Wednesday
