On Wednesday, the final touches were officially put on the 2025 recruiting class, as National Signing Day took place all across the country.

 

However, this was not necessarily as loaded as Early Signing Day back in December, as a vast majority of the best prospects nationally had already signed prior to Wednesday. Were there any still available though, and if so, were they potential Alabama targets?

 

Here is everything you need to know from National Signing Day surrounding the Alabama Crimson Tide football program.

 

Alabama had only one storyline to monitor going into National Signing Day on Wednesday, which was the status of former offensive line commit Ty Haywood. A decision came early Wednesday morning from the highly-rated four-star offensive tackle, who officially signed with the Michigan Wolverines.

 

The Crimson Tide are likely not expected to add another member of their 2025 recruiting class Wednesday.

Alabama Football 2025 Recruiting Class Strengths

DeBoer and the Crimson Tide addressed a significant amount of areas with this class, some of which were likely a bit more evident than others. However, what could you say are some strengths in particular?

 

 

 

Secondary: Alabama added three Top 100 prospects in the secondary alone in cornerbacks Dijon Lee and Chuck McDonald, as well as one of the nation’s premier safeties in Ivan Taylor.

Offensive Line: Alabama landed two Top 100 offensive linemen in Michael Carroll and Jackson Lloyd, as well as two top in-state players at the position in Micah DeBose and Mal Waldrep.

Quarterback: Alabama signed Keelon Russell at the quarterback position, who is one of the highest-rated recruits in program history.
