According to Phil Hay : Daniel Farke has considered signing a player Harry Kane has called ‘unbelievable’ for Leeds
The Spurs midfielder knows Daniel Farke very well from his loan spell at Norwich, and the German is keen to reunite with the Spurs midfielder.
Described as ‘unbelievable’ by Harry Kane, Skipp is a fantastic player.
Unfortunately, we just can’t see this one going ahead.
It would be brilliant to see Oliver Skipp back working under Daniel Farke in this Leeds team, but there’s not a chance that this one happens.
Skipp is heavily involved at Spurs, he even scored against Barcelona this week in a friendly.
Even if Skipp were to leave Tottenham, he would have no trouble finding another Premier League club, so a drop down to the Championship probably isn’t on his mind – even if he would love the idea of working with Farke again.
Skipp would be utterly brilliant in the Championship, but, in reality, he’s way above that level nowadays.
He’s likely to play an important role for Tottenham this season, and, thus, a move to Elland Road isn’t on the cards.
A potential midfield pivot of Ethan Ampadu and Skipp is mouthwatering at that level, but it’s really tough to see this move actually going ahead.
With that being said though, Harry Winks has just joined Leicester City from Tottenham a few years after starting a Champions League final for Spurs, so we can’t rule this one out entirely.
Leeds may well be in the market for a new midfielder this summer, but it’s hard to imagine that Skipp will be the man they ultimately land.

“Crazy” – Daniel Farke has already whet Leeds United appetites on “never injured” £12m ace
Leeds United are closing in on the signing of Norwich City right-back Max Aarons this week, looking to seal a £12million agreement for the 23-year-old.
Transfers in at Elland Road haven’t been as frequent as the fans would have liked this summer, with Daniel Farke aiming to turn around the downward spiral that caused relegation in May.
Not many would have predicted this week that the club were going to go all out for a new right-back signing, but we are close to seeing one materialise.
The Pink Un reported this morning that the Whites are closing in on the signing of Norwich City star Max Aarons, aiming to seal a reunion with his former Canaries manager Daniel Farke.
Aarons is in the final 12 months of his contract after making his debut back in 2018/19 under Farke, and Leeds are said to be discussing a deal that could rise to around £12million.
At 23, Aarons has gained a reputation as one of the best full-backs in the division, having helped England Under-21s to the European Championship title this summer, alongside Charlie Cresswell.
What has Farke said about Aarons?
Aarons was a star for Norwich and Farke during both promotion-winning campaigns in 18/19 and 20/21, registering 15 goal involvements across those two seasons from full-back.
In his second title-winning season, Aarons’ perhaps most impressive moment was an incredible solo goal against Sheffield Wednesday, dancing through challenges before firing in from a tight angle.
Following this game, interest from Barcelona had emerged for the youngster, and Farke was keen to address this with nothing but praise for the defender (via Pink Un):
