Tottenham might ‘already have an agreement’ to sign 23-year-old in January
There have been rumors that Tottenham Hotspur is interested in OGC Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo.
The 23-year-old has been connected to a transfer to the Premier League, where teams like Manchester United and Tottenham are eager to sign him for the upcoming season.
Ignazio Genuardi, a journalist, has recently disclosed that Spurs and the French team may “already have an agreement” to buy the defender.
With their acute need for defensive reinforcements, Tottenham should find the 23-year-old to be a good addition.
He has made a name for himself in the French league as one of the most dependable players, and he possesses the physical and technical qualities necessary to succeed in English football as well. The 23-year-old will become better with coaching and experience because he is still a young player. Todibo has all he needs to become a premier league defender of the highest caliber.
It could turn out to be a fantastic piece of transfer business if Tottenham can sign him for a fair fee next month.
Due to injury, players like Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero are presently unavailable. If Tottenham want to qualify for the Champions League, they will need to make every effort to get strong defensive reinforcements.
They had a great start to the season, but a string of injuries has caused their play to decline recently. It would be interesting to watch if they can resurrect their top four push next month by adding the proper players.
