Current Kentucky basketball targets in the 2025 recruiting class
The 2024-25 college basketball season is still months away, and coach Mark Pope is still in the process of assembling a roster for it. He has added a number of transfers, mostly due to it being too late to do much with this year’s recruiting class.
Kentucky fans are going to judge Pope’s tenure with the Wildcats on championships, but his ability to recruit will also be watched closely.
The 2025 recruiting class will be his first chance to show that he can draw in top talents and bring them to Lexington.
Pope has already begun reaching out to players in the 2025 class. Several of the top players have said they have heard from Kentucky, and were open to building a relationship.
Former Kentucky coach John Calipari had contacted some of the 2025 recruits already, and Pope has stayed in touch with some of them. Here’s the players from next year’s class that Pope has targeted thus far, and it will be updated as time passes.
