Last week during theĀ Kansas City ChiefsĀ game against the Baltimore Ravens, wide receiverĀ Kadarius ToneyĀ had a slip-up against his own team when he denied he was injured for this game. Having played only 13 games this season and not a single playoff game is getting to him and he aired his fristrations through his social media. Before the game, the Chiefs staff decided to place Toney in the inury report with hip/personal designation as the reason. However, Toney flat out sai the team was lying about his status and he was fit to play. In fact, Toney seemed extremely rattled by theĀ ChiefsĀ decision to place him on the list.
During an IG livestream, Toney denied that was true and positioned himself completely against this decision. He also didnt’ mince his words when he spoke about the situation with his followers. Before the AFC championship game, it was reported that Toney’s girlfriend gave birth to their daughter. Many expected him to not be part of theĀ Super BowlĀ team due to his behavior but Toney has been training alongside his teammates. Currently, all signs point at Toney possibly getting a chance to redeem himself and play the biggest game of the season.
